We're veterans and families who've lived the transition out of uniform — and decided to do something about what we saw.
Being veterans ourselves, we've seen — and lived — the pitfalls of transitioning out of the military. Too many service members leave with no clear map of the benefits they've earned, the organizations that can actually help, or a community that understands what they're walking into.
We became concerned enough to take a stand. Veteran Service Coalition started as a small group of veterans and dedicated civilian staff compiling a list of the Veteran Service Organizations we trust — and it's grown into a working plan to build the single source of benefit awareness transitioning veterans deserve. We're early, we're small, and we're doing this for the betterment of our families and our communities.
"Be the best single source of benefit awareness for transitioning and transitioned veterans."
"Value our Veterans with every step. Serve our Veterans to the best of our ability. Care for our Veterans well-being during their times of need."
Value. Service. Care. Three words that guide every program we build and every veteran we work with.
We're an all-volunteer leadership team today, and we're actively working to establish a full board of directors.
